1. Compliance & Disclaimer
Licenta is an assistant tool that helps contractors organize, track, and monitor compliance deadlines, continuing education (CE) requirements, and relevant trade documents.
CRITICAL REGULATORY DISCLAIMER: Licenta is not a licensing board, a legal advisor, or an official registrar. Using this tool does not guarantee renewal approvals, regulatory compliance, or filing success with any local, state, or federal boards.
Contractors remain solely responsible for validating continuing education requirements, expiration dates, and fee schedules directly with their state licensing board.
2. User Accounts & Multi-User Workspaces
To access the platform, you must establish an account. Workspaces operate on a multi-user model:
- Workspace Owners: Have full administrative permissions, including inviting new team members, removing members, viewing full security audit logs, updating company profiles, and requesting account deletion.
- Workspace Members: Can read and edit licenses, upload documents, check off tasks, and review compliance rules, but cannot modify workspace administration or billing.
3. Termination & Data Grace Period
Workspace Owners can initiate a soft delete request for their workspace at any time.
Upon request, the workspace enters a 30-day grace period. During this window, all data remains securely staged on our servers and can be restored. Following the 30-day period, the database records and isolated file directories will be permanently and irreversibly purged from our servers.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Licenta, its founders, or service providers be liable for any regulatory fines, license suspension penalties, trade shutdown damages, lost profits, or business interruptions arising out of the use or inability to use the compliance tracking platform.
